OVERNIGHT PIMPLE TREATMENT

The best way to end the day is to brush your teeth and wash your face with your very own face wash and leave it free from all dirt, oil and the day’s stress. Just when you take a last look at yourself, in the bathroom mirror, what if you happen to notice a small red blip (a pimple)? I’m guessing it should be the end of a good night’s sleep? Are you in for a panic attack?

All the additional stress is not going to help you in anyway. So stop panicking and just follow one of the following steps and wake up to find yourself as fresh as a rose bud!

  1. Use a small dollop of plain white tooth paste– Dab this tiny dollop of plain white tooth paste over the pimple. Ensure that you cover the entire area, even the pinkish circumference. Leave it overnight. (Just remember not to sleep on your face!). Voila! Your clean and clear face is back where it was!
  2. Your own saliva (sounds silly?) – This works likes a miracle. Best to use early morning saliva before you brush. Your saliva contains bacteria that will play on the pimple and then its science (your saliva has antibodies that can repair few body issues like pimples). Apply enough to cover the infected area (why worry its free of cost and your own medication!) and leave it overnight. The morning mirror will love your pimple free face.
  3. Honey – Honey is usually thick, so just a dip of your tiny finger will do the magic. Apply honey on the pimple area. Leave it on for an hour and wash with luke warm water. The amazing properties of honey will retain the moisture and make your skin feel supple. And the pimple…What pimple!
  4. Baking Soda – Mix two teaspoons of baking soda with enough water. Mix to get an ointment type consistency. Apply on the infected area and on areas that have scar from earlier pimples. Leave it on for 15 minutes, not more not less. Rinse with luke warm water.

A word of caution, this cannot be used for sensitive skin. So if you have sensitive skin then baking soda is a big no- NO. Try a patch test on your arm to check if your skin can withstand the effects of baking soda.

  1. Egg White – Separate the yolk from the egg white. Do not beat the egg white. Use some cotton to apply egg white to the infected area. Wait till your skin tightens. Then rinse with luke warm water.
  2. Garlic – This does not just keep vampires at bay but also pimples! Cut a garlic pod into two. Apply the inner side on the infected area. The idea is to use the essence. This may burn a little for sensitive skin. But the outcome is worth it. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off with luke warm water.

And then we have miss clear face who can attend that important meeting with great confidence. The best way to ignore pimples in the long run is to eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. And as they say, the rest is history!
